Getting home at night: one tap on arrival and your people can relax
Switch on the "Night Travel" mode and set your estimated time. Tap "I'm safe" when you arrive; if you don't, your contacts are alerted with your last location.
A safety net for travelling alone at night
Coming home late by taxi, public transport or on foot, it makes a real difference that someone knows where you are. If you forget to send an "arrived" message, or something goes wrong on the way, nobody may notice.
LifeCheck Mobility runs the time on the server. You close it with one tap when you arrive; if you don't, your people are alerted.
How to use it
- When you leave: pick the "Night Travel" mode and a time that fits your trip.
- On the way: you get reminders 30, 10 and 5 minutes before the end; if you are late, add 30 minutes.
- On arrival: tap "I'm safe". If you don't, your contacts are alerted with your last location and battery.
Features that suit night travel
When you do not feel safe, hold it; your contacts are alerted at once and follow you live on a map. Undo within 60 seconds if it was a mistake.
If the phone switches off or runs flat, the alert still goes out when time is up.
See the time left on the lock screen and tap I'm safe.
By vehicle, a hard impact prompts "Are you OK?"; with no answer in 60 seconds your contacts are told. It cannot promise to catch every accident.
The alert carries your last position and battery level.
1 session a day and 1 contact are free; paid plans have a 7-day free trial.
Frequently asked questions
What if my trip takes longer?›
You get a reminder before time runs out and can add 30 minutes. If you don't, your contacts are alerted when it ends.
Do my contacts have to install the app?›
Yes. Alerts are not sent by SMS or WhatsApp; they go as in-app notifications to people who installed the app and accepted your invite.
Does it share my location all the time?›
No. Nothing is shared live in a normal session; your contacts see your position on a map only once an alert goes out.
Does it call 112?›
No, LifeCheck is not an emergency service. In a life-threatening situation call emergency services first.
