Car drives, night travel, or solo living — if you don't confirm you're safe before the timer runs out, your emergency contacts are automatically alerted in the app.
From design to ease of use — LifeCheck Mobility works exactly as you'd expect.
Car drive, motorcycle, night travel, solo living and more. Set a duration from 15 minutes to 72 hours. The app keeps running in the background.
Push notifications at 30min, 10min and 5min remaining.
When the timer runs out, your emergency contacts are alerted in the app with your last known location, with reminders if nobody responds. Hold the SOS button 3 seconds for an instant alert.
Solo night driving, motorcycle rides or long highway trips. The timer starts, you confirm arrival before it runs out.
Intercity buses, flight connections or exploring an unfamiliar city alone. Having someone who knows you're safe changes everything.
An elderly parent, a sibling living alone, or a loved one working far away. Stay connected with daily check-ins from a distance.
Hold the SOS button for 3 seconds: your contacts are alerted at once with your location, and it is refreshed again after 15 and 60 minutes. You don't have to wait for the timer to run out.
When you send SOS, LifeCheck Mobility alerts your contacts at once and refreshes your location after 15 and 60 minutes. Updates go out while your phone is on and online; they stop after three updates, and you can stop them yourself at any time. The app is not an emergency service: call 112 first.
SOS is deliberately not on the widget: to avoid accidental alerts it only works inside the app, with a 3-second hold. Lock screen buttons work while the phone is unlocked, so nobody else can stop your timer.
You need the latest version of the app. To add it to the lock screen, press and hold the lock screen and tap Customize.
Home screen widget, warning state, idle and Dynamic Island
Your latest GPS coordinates are automatically added to every alert. Opens in maps with one tap.
Contacts who have the app are notified at once; if they miss it, it stays in the in-app inbox and a reminder follows.
Hold for 3 seconds — your live location and emergency message are instantly sent to all contacts.
Write a note for each contact (e.g. a door code). It is shown to that person only while an alert is live and removed once you are safe.
The moment a contact sees your alert, your screen says "Elif saw your alert and is on it". From the same screen you can call 112 with one tap; your coordinates and the details an operator asks for are ready.
Add 1 to 5 emergency contacts depending on your plan. Send your invite link; when they install and sign up you pair with one tap, no code to type. They see your battery level and last location.
The timer is also watched on our server. Even if your phone is locked or off, your contacts are alerted when it runs out.
7-day free trial on all paid plans. Cancel anytime.
On iPhone, press and hold an empty spot on the home screen, tap the + at the top left and choose LifeCheck. For the lock screen, press and hold it and tap Customize. On Android, press and hold the home screen and drag LifeCheck from Widgets. The widget shows your time left and lets you use "I'm safe" and "+30 min". SOS is deliberately not on the widget. You need the latest app version.
No. LifeCheck Mobility does not contact official emergency services (112, 911, etc.). It only sends in-app alerts to your designated emergency contacts who have the app. Alert screens offer a one-tap Call 112 button with the details an operator asks for (coordinates, time, battery) ready, but you place the call. Always call official emergency services first in any emergency.
You get full access to all features for 7 days on paid plans. Cancel anytime before the trial ends and you won't be charged. Your card details are securely stored by Apple or Google — never shared with us.
You receive notifications at 30, 10, and 5 minutes before the timer expires. When it does, your emergency contacts who have the app receive an automated alert with your last known location, with reminders if nobody responds. If you confirm you're safe, the alert closes.
Yes. After starting a session you can lock your phone or use other apps. The countdown is also watched on our server: if the timer runs out, the alert is sent even if your phone is off.
Data is stored on Google Cloud (Firebase): the database is in the United States and server functions run in Belgium. Our texts are written under KVKK and GDPR. Location is erased after 90 days; if you delete your account your data is erased immediately. We do not sell your data. Ads appear on the free plan only and we do not use your location, contacts or sessions for advertising.
The plan owner generates an invite code within the app. Up to 4 more people can join with the code — 5 users total. Members don't pay separately. If the owner cancels, all members revert to the free plan.
You keep important information such as passwords, instructions or a message encrypted. If you turn delivery on and pick an interval (7 to 90 days) and do not tap "I'm here" in that time, the vault is delivered to the emergency contacts you chose, who can save it as a PDF. You get reminders before time runs out. The vault is encrypted on the server (not end-to-end), is not a will or legal document, and delivery is not guaranteed.
On the Contacts screen add the person and tap "Invite"; send the invite link through WhatsApp, SMS or any app. They tap the link, install the app and sign up; the app recognises the invite and you pair with one tap, no code to type. From that moment you both see each other as "On the app" under Contacts and receive each other's alerts. To type a code by hand, use "Have an invite code?" on the Contacts screen.
The moment a contact opens your alert and taps "I've seen it, I'm on it", your screen shows "Elif saw your alert and is on it". From the same window you can call 112 with one tap; your coordinates, time and battery level, the details an operator asks for, are ready. If nobody answers, your contacts keep getting reminders until someone does.
Whatever the trip, start a session in the mode that fits it.
No commitment. Cancel anytime. iOS and Android.
Important Notice: LifeCheck Mobility is NOT an emergency response service. It does not contact 112, 911, or official emergency services. In any emergency, always contact official emergency services directly.
