For campers and caravanners: a safety net where there is no signal
Set a time when you leave and tap I'm safe during the day. If nobody hears from you, your loved ones get an alert with your last location; the time runs on our server, not on your phone.
The risk of being alone outdoors
At a remote camp site, on a hike or on a long caravan trip, if something happens and nobody knows where you are, help can be delayed for hours. Where there is no signal you cannot text "arrived" either.
In LifeCheck Mobility the time runs on the server. If you started the session while online, then lost signal later, your contacts are still alerted when the time you chose passes without an I'm safe.
How to use it camping
- When you leave: pick the "Caravan / Camper" or "Camping / Outdoors" mode. You can set 24 hours or more (up to 72).
- During the day: tap I'm safe whenever you have signal, or each evening, and the timer restarts.
- If nobody hears from you: when time is up your contacts get an alert with your last known position; reminders continue until someone answers.

Frequently asked questions
What happens with no signal?›
If you started the session while online, the timer runs on the server. When time is up the alert goes out; the position in it is the last one your phone shared before the signal dropped.
How often should I say I'm safe?›
As often as the time you chose. A short time for a few hours' hike, or 24 hours for a caravan trip that you renew each evening, are practical.
Do my contacts have to install the app?›
Yes. Alerts are not sent by SMS or WhatsApp; they go as in-app notifications to people who installed the app.
Does it call 112?›
No, LifeCheck is not an emergency service. In a life-threatening situation call emergency services first.
