For people who live alone: if something happens, someone will know
Set a 24-hour time and tap "I'm safe" once a day. If nobody answers, the people you chose are alerted with your phone's last location and battery level.
The biggest risk when you live alone: nobody notices
On your own at home, a fall, a sudden illness or a moment when you cannot reach the phone can go unnoticed for hours. Making your family call you every day tires both you and them.
LifeCheck Mobility turns it into a quiet safety net: the time runs on the server. You tap once during the day, and if you don't, your people are alerted. You never have to call anyone.
How to use it
- Set a time: pick the "Living Alone" mode and a duration such as 24 hours (15 minutes to 72 hours).
- Tap once a day: the "I'm safe" button in the home or lock screen widget restarts the time.
- If nobody answers: your people are alerted with your last location and battery; reminders continue until someone replies.
Features that suit living alone
If the phone switches off or runs flat, the alert still goes out when time is up.
See the time left without opening the phone and tap I'm safe in one tap (iPhone and Android).
Turn it on in Settings and during a session it asks "Are you OK?" after a hard fall; with no answer in 60 seconds your contacts are told. It cannot promise to catch every fall.
Write a note for each contact (for example "the spare key is with the neighbour"). It is shown to that person only during an alert.
If you feel unwell hold for 3 seconds; your contacts follow you live on a map. Undo within 60 seconds if it was a mistake.
1 session a day and 1 contact are free; paid plans have a 7-day free trial.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to open the app every day?›
No. The I'm safe button on the widget is enough. With a 24-hour time, one tap a day does it.
Do my relatives have to install the app?›
Yes. Alerts are not sent by SMS or WhatsApp; they go as in-app notifications to people who installed the app and accepted your invite.
What if my phone is off?›
If you started the session while online, the timer runs on the server and your people are alerted when it ends. The position in the alert is the last one your phone shared.
Does it call 112?›
No, LifeCheck is not an emergency service. In a life-threatening situation call emergency services first.
